Happy Dussehra 2015

Dussehra, known as Vijayadashami, is one of the most important Hindu festivals celebrated in various forms, across India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. The name Dussehra is derived from Sanskrit. Dasha-hara literally means Dashanan ravan (the name of Ravan and in short Dasha and Hara (defeat)) referring to Lord Rama's victory over the ten-headed demon king Ravana.
Dussehra symbolizes the conquest of good over evil. It is thus considered as an auspicious day. Even today after burning the effigy of Ravana along with his subordinates Meghanad and Kumbhkarana on the Dusshera celebrations, we simply symbolize the power of goodness and humanity is above all kind of powers. As Lord Rama fought a battle of ten days with Ravana, who had abducted his wife Sita, the day of his victory is called Vijaya Dashmi, the tenth day of Victory. It is said that this day symbolizes not as the victory of Ram but also the victory of mankind. That is why this day is held in high regard by people who believe that whenever there will be chaos in the society and evil will try to take over humanity, God will appear in a the form of savior to protect his devotees.

Happy Teachers Day ,2015

The role of teachers in everyone’s life is great as they are the only visual source of knowledge for their students.
Teacher’s day in India is celebrated every year on 5th of September to honour the contributions of the teachers in our study, society and country. There is a great reason behind celebrating the teacher’s day on 5th of September. 5th of September is the birth anniversary of a great person named, Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. He was highly devoted towards education and well known as the scholar, diplomat, President of India and most importantly a Teacher.
Teachers are the real holder of knowledge, enlightenment and prosperity using which they nourish and prepare us for our life. They serve as source of lighting lamp in our lives. It is our teachers who stand behind our success.
DANCE and MUSIC field involves Guru-Shishya parampara..... It is the most honest and pure relationship between a teacher and a student....
The true meaning of Guru is "one who dispels darkness of ignorance". "Gu" means "darkness of ignorance" and "Ru" means "one who removes". Guru resembles the trinity Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva.  Brahma is creator.  Guru creates or inculcates knowledge in the minds of the students. Guru is Vishnu.  Lord Vishnu maintains the creation.  Similarly Guru helps in keeping up the knowledge.  Guru is like Shiva. Shiva is the destroyer.  Guru destroys or gets rid of the ignorance from the students' minds.
